How to play
Weight Watchers® is a game we play to lose weight, and here are our four fab secrets to making sure everyone’s a winner!
1. Have fun with your food
ProPoints® is a fantastic counting system that allows you to eat what you like, when you like, until you reach your daily total. You get 49 extra ProPoints® values to play with every week too, so nights out with your friends are still totally part of the game. No food is banned and nothing is compulsory (not like some diets out there!) You’ll eat more of the things that are good for you – and good for weight loss – and less of the things that aren’t. It’s playtime.
2. Get moving
The key to being active – and being able to stick with it past January – is to do something you LOVE, that way you’ll be much more likely to do it. So why not walk, swim, kickbox or zumba your way to earn extra ProPoints® values, which you can then spend on the foods you enjoy. Just choose your fave activity and get moving!
3. Join the gang
Both the support from your Leader and your fellow team members, plus the tools used by those who play Weight Watchers®, make sure we’re all winners at the weight loss game. There are so many tips and tricks to help us understand and follow the rules, wherever we may be. Use our iPhone and iPad apps to play on the move and find us on Facebook and Twitter, too.
4. Healthy habits
Success comes when you change your old patterns of bad behaviour – both emotional and physical – and form new good ones. We can teach you how to do this as you play Weight Watchers®, so it won’t ever be a chore, and it needn’t ever interfere with the demands of your family, social or working life.
